One room, photographed in the afternoon once the trim went on and before anything got moved back in. We post the light rather than the product β€” the light is the part you live with.

What we install

Six openings

Measured, ordered, installed and trimmed by the same two people, start to finish.

Replacement Windows

Replacement Windows

Vinyl or fiberglass, insert or full-frame depending on what the opening will actually allow. Measured to the sixteenth, shimmed square, foamed low-expansion and trimmed.

From $745 per window
Entry Doors

Entry Doors

Fiberglass or steel slabs hung in a new frame, with the jamb re-plumbed and the threshold set so it seals without needing a shoulder in it.

From $3,250
Patio & Sliding Doors

Patio & Sliding Doors

Sliders and French units set on a properly levelled sill, so they still roll with one finger in year six the way they did in week one.

From $3,900
Bay, Bow & Picture Units

Bay, Bow & Picture Units

The big one on the front of the house β€” framed, headered, insulated and roofed properly, rather than caulked into an opening and hoped for.

From $3,400

Egress & Basement Windows

Cut, framed and set to size for a basement bedroom, with the well, the ladder and the cover set outside while we're there.

From $4,600

About Northlight Window & Door
Who measures it

Two people, one van, about four windows a day.

Northlight started in 2015 after fifteen years of hanging other people's orders on other people's schedules. Aaron wanted the person who measured the opening to be the same person who set the unit β€” a small idea that turns out to fix most of what goes wrong on this kind of job.

So that's how it works here. We measure, we order, we come back and set them. Nothing gets subbed out and nobody hands you off to a crew you've never met. We're slower than the big outfits and we've made peace with it β€” four windows done right beats fourteen done Tuesday.

Why Northlight

Quiet, square and sealed

Three things that are very difficult and very expensive to fix afterwards.

πŸ“

Measured by the installer

Same hands on the tape and the shims. Nothing gets lost between a salesman and the van.

πŸ”‡

Quieter than you expect

Most people notice the noise before they notice the draft. It's the first thing you'll hear.

🧊

Sealed, not just foamed

Flashed, foamed and caulked in the right order, so the wall behind it stays dry.

🧹

The old ones leave with us

Glass, sashes, packaging and trim scrap all go out in the van the same day.
